Measure Up Monday - 13 Weeks & Adriana Leigh is 3 Months Old!

Adriana turned three months old on December 11, 2011. She also turned 13 weeks on this day. I took the picture that day, but this is the first I've been able to get it on the blog.















At three months old, Adriana can do all of the following:

• smiles easily
• enjoys taking a bath
• chuckles
• leans on elbows while on stomach
• turns head and neck to find source of sound
• reacts differently to each parent's presence
• holds head at 90-degree angle when on stomach
• has many facial expressions
• is very vocal
• sits with support
• bats at objects
• waits for an expected reward, such as feeding
• tries to attract attention when people are nearby
• focuses eyes at different distances
• holds head steady and erect
• clasps fingers and hands
• smiles and vocalizes
• attempts to soothe self (successfully most of the time)
• likes stuffed animals
• can turn head in all directions
• interested in mirror image
• pulls dangling objects toward herself and brings them to her mouth
• begins to recognize family members

We are so thrilled with all of the stuff our baby girl can do. It is so much fun to watch her get more interactive every day.
