At seven months old, Adriana can do all of the following:
- keep her head level when pulled to a sitting position.
- make some vowel-consonant sounds and two-syllable sounds (especially when I give her some of my food).
- sit by herself with minimal support.
- open her mouth for a spoon.
- reach for and grab objects.
- roll over and back.
- drink from a cup with help (she's getting better at this, but still needs some work).
- hold a bottle.
- copy some facial expressions.
- turn in the direction of a voice.
- play peekaboo.
- chew on objects.
- reach for utensils when being fed.
- turn her head away when finished eating.
- babbles enthusiastically.
- tests gravity by dropping objects over the edge of her high chair.
- responds to her own name.
- reacts differently for different family members.
- shows some anxiety when removed from parent.
- reach for toys.
- interested in grabbing the spoon during feedings.
- transfers object from hand to hand.
- stands holding onto someone.
- shows interest in books.
- pulls off socks.
- extends arms and legs when getting dressed.
